Kate Wallin
Senior Director, Development at Marriott
Kate joined the EMEA Development team in January 2022 to support Marriott’s rapidly expanding presence across the UK and Ireland for new builds and conversions. Kate works closely with the hotel investor and ownership community with a particular focus to grow our select service brands in key markets.
Kate’s had various roles within Marriott, starting her Marriott career in 2011 within the Risk Management Department, primarily overseeing the European insurance programmes, claims and negotiation of contractual requirements of international agreements. From there, Kate join the Asset Management team in February 2020. In this role Kate was responsible for leading the Development Asset Management team and Marriott’s pipeline projects for managed and franchise openings / conversions for EMEA.
