Festival of Hospitality terms and conditions
Charges and Payments
Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added at checkout or to each monthly payment when charged.
We have the right to adjust the price we charge for Festival passes or individual events at any time. This does not affect previous purchases or existing monthly payment contracts.
All one-time payment purchases must be paid in full at time of purchase.
Monthly payments will be taken monthly with the amount and date to be agreed between the purchaser and us.
Missed/Late Payments
If you miss a payment and do not let us know, we will suspend the contract and provision of events until such time as the missing payment has been made.
If it takes more than 30 days to make the late payment, we reserve the right to charge interest at the Bank of England base rate.
If more than two months’ payments are missed, or payments are continually late, we reserve the right to cancel the payment agreement and request full and immediate settlement of any outstanding money.
Right to Cancellation
As you are purchasing your ticket online, you have the legal right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to change your mind and cancel your purchase, within 14 days of purchase.
If you choose to cancel in accordance with this right, you will receive a full refund of the fee paid for the ticket less the price of any events attended, administration costs and charges. Where an event has not yet been attended but a place was already registered, we may have to charge a fee to cover the administrative costs of advertising and securing the available place at the event.
Refunds/Returns
After the 14-day cooling off period, no refunds or returns will be accepted/processed.
Transfer of Tickets
Our Individual Passes, Corporate Passes, Partner/Sponsor Passes, and Investor/Developer/Operator passes are transferrable within your organisation only. This applies to permanent, contract or temporary staff members, but not freelancers, suppliers, contractors or anyone else.
You will need to provide a name and email address for each person attending each event operated by us.
Concessions, including our Under 30s passes, are not transferrable and must be used by the pass holder only.
All event attendees are subject to the terms and conditions of our events as listed within this document.
Privacy
We shall comply with all applicable data protection legislation in the provision of the Services to you. How we use any personal data you give to us is set out in our Privacy Policy, a copy of which can be found on our website.
Intellectual Property
Any intellectual property created at our events can not be copied or reproduced and remains the property of the Festival of Hospitality and, where applicable, its speakers and co-creators.
Recording of Events
Photography and videography will take place at our events. By attending our events, you consent to being filmed and/or recorded and may feature in any resulting footage or photographs.
Unauthorised professional photography or the use of professional recording equipment is prohibited.
Public Liability Insurance
We operate and maintain the correct level of insurance for our events with reputable insurers.
Cancellation of Events
We have the right to cancel events due to circumstances beyond our control. If we cancel an event, we will endeavour to reschedule it for a later date. The rescheduled event may have a different line-up of speakers or focus if we are unable to rebook the original line-up.
We will contact you via email to inform you of an event cancellation, and it is your responsibility to check your emails prior to each event.
Event Information and Marketing
Once your purchase is complete, your email address will be added to our mailing list.
We do this to provide you with information on each event that forms part of the Festival Pass that you have purchased.
Where you have purchased a ticket to an individual event, we add you to the mailing list to keep you updated on other upcoming events that you may be interested in.
