The world needs a sustainability agenda but who is driving this in the hospitality sector?

Is it a consumer need that people are expecting – are they making their purchasing decisions based on the sustainability credentials of the hotel, or is it just expected, or don’t they care?

Are brands setting the standards because of consumer expectation? What impact, if any, is this having on the developer?

Are the investors funds driving the agenda through ESG, and how is that affecting their  relationship with developers and brands?
